•Factory 18
MisrTech was awarded the project of deploying the network infrastructure in Factory 18 and its connectivity to the Ministry of Military Production Data Center. The project scope covered the civil work required to build the fiber/copper cables network in the large factory, cabling, providing the active networks equipment, training, and testing the whole network for quality assurance.
•About Factory 18
Abu Zaabal Company for Specialty Chemicals was founded in 1950 and in 1959 the company introduced the industry of industrial explosives (dynamite) to meet the needs of the mining and quarrying, as well as the explorations required for oil and major construction projects. A notable achievements in this area is the High Dam Project in Aswan, where 12,000 tons of dynamite made by Factory 18 were used in this national project.
The efforts of scientific research led to the development of technologies for the manufacturing of some specialty chemicals such as ether anesthesia, industrial nitrocellulose for thepaints industry, edible oils (pure sunflower/cotton seeds), natural palm oil, and detergents for different purposes. The company is ISO 9001 certified.
